Confirmation of Booking

Customers who book tickets using the Dewi Morris Curry Club website will receive an e-mail notification confirming that the booking has been processed.  Amendments to your booking i.e. numbers/places can be made up to three working days prior to the event.  Where a person makes a booking on behalf of a party, that person accepts these terms and conditions on behalf of all members of the party and is responsible for all payments due from the party.

Terms of Payment

All tickets must be paid for in full by BACS, cheque or PayPal after receiving a booking confirmation prior to the event.  Cheques made payable to “Dewi Morris Curry Club”, 16B Hall Road, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5BW.   BACS information as invoice. PayPal as on Venues page of this web site. Cheque payments for bookings can be made on the day of the event with prior arrangement.

We regret we do not take credit card bookings.

Tables cancelled 7 days prior to the event will not be refunded.  However should you wish to transfer your booking/places to a future event/another location we will endeavour to satisfy your request wherever possible.

Alterations and Cancellations

• Why Not Wine/Dewi Morris Curry Club cannot be responsible for the non-arrival of any booked/advertised speaker/comedian. We will endeavor to replace the speaker/comedian with a superior/similar alternative for the event.

• Why Not Wine/Dewi Morris Curry Club will not be liable in any way if an event is abandoned due to any factors which are beyond the reasonable control of Why Not Wine/Dewi Morris Curry Club.

• Without limiting the foregoing, the following shall be regarded as causes beyond the Why Not Wine/Dewi Morris Curry Club's reasonable control:

1. Acts of God, which include earthquakes, cyclones, storms, flooding, fire, disease, fog, snow or frost;

2. Force Majeure which includes war, accidents, acts of public enemies, strikes, embargoes, perils of the air, local disputes and civil commotions;

3. Power failure and failure of sound or lighting equipment.

Why Not Wine/Dewi Morris Curry Club will also not be liable for any losses incurred by you in connection with your use of our website, for any delay in using or your inability to use the website, for any information or tickets obtained through the website or for any material posted to the website by the Dewi Morris Curry Club.

Admission

We reserve the right to refuse admission. If admission is refused no refund will be available.

Safety and Enjoyment

Mobile phones, pagers and blackberries must be silenced before the speakers & comedians perform.  They may be kept on during the lunch at the owner’s discretion.

Links to Third Party Sites

The Dewi Morris Curry Club website may contain hyperlinks to websites operated by parties other than our own i.e. Event Sponsors, charities etc. The operation of such websites is outside Why Not Wine/Dewi Morris Curry Club's control and you proceed at your own risk.

Data Protection and Personal Information

Why Not Wine/Dewi Morris Curry Club will collect, use, store your Personal Information which you supply when you register to book online.  It will be used by Why Not Wine/Dewi Morris Curry Club to keep you up-to-date with events and activities produced by ourselves. 

The details which you provide about yourself when registering and booking plus any information which identifies you such as your name, address, email address, telephone number, country of residence ("Personal Information") will only be retained by us.  This Personal Information will be held on our system and used for operational purposes such as the processing of bookings and orders in connection with our on-line ticket and book ordering services and for emailing event information.

Any data collected via "Business Card Draws" taken at each event will be shared with the sponsor.  This information will be used to send you details regarding their products/services.  If you do not wish to receive this information, email helen@dewimorriscurryclub.co.uk directly.

We may from time to time ask you for further information in order to update our records or for particular purposes. We will always tell you how we will use any further information received from you.

Correction /Updating Personal Information

If your Personal information changes or if you no longer wish to subscribe to the service, we will endeavour to correct, update or remove the Personal Information provided to us as speedily as possible.  This can be done directly by sending an email to helen@dewimorriscurryclub.co.uk.

• Why Not Wine/Dewi Morris Curry Club take every precaution to protect your Personal Information. To this end all Personal Information stored by us is kept on a server in a secure environment. Only employees and approved contractors/developers we may appoint from time to time and who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information.
